Windows 98SE users only: The device drivers are necessary for your system to communicate with your USB 2.0 external hard drive. You must install the device drivers on your system prior to connecting the external hard drive. Please download and unzip the driver software to a specific location such as 'TEMP' directory and then follow the instructions in the 'Driver Installation Manual' document (included with the driver) to complete the driver installation. It is not necessary to download the device drivers for Windows ME, 2000 & XP.
