One of the main questions we often get is: “How do you make and print labels for TSC printers?”
Great question!
All TSC printers use the same driver. From the location of the downloaded file, open and run the driver file. You may be prompted by a Windows User Account Control request, if so please click “Yes”. Here’s what we do.
We work with a company in Bellevue, Wash. called Seagull Scientific who makes the BarTender® software. You can use this software to create and automate labels and barcodes—and more.
As an OEM partner of Seagull Scientific, we “tip in” a version that only works with our printers called BarTender UltraLite.
When you purchase a TSC printer, you can download BarTender from our website and will actually own the software. BarTender has almost all the features you need to design and print labels and barcodes using our printers.
We include BarTender UltraLite with every printer we make.
(A quick note: Seagull Scientific offers a few other editions of their software. If you’re interested or need it, you can purchase an upgrade from BarTender like BarTender Professional Edition by going to their website: https://www.seagullscientific.com/.)
